Groups
The Groups Package offers exclusive use of Amara's guest area as your own private Country Getaway. Sleeping a maximum of 8 adults and 6 children, it is ideal as a base for smaller tour groups to explore the Garden Route. Also perfect for family get-togethers, reunions, birthday parties, anniversaries, and celebrations of all kinds. The Groups Package includes the exclusive use of all 3 cottages on a self-catering basis, as well as the gorgeous venue building overlooking the fresh water dam and natural swimming pool.
The venue building is comprised of the Lapa entertainment area, Heron Hall, interlocking kitchen, 2 bathrooms, as well as the pool area with a massive wooden deck, loungers and outdoor fire pit, plus an outdoor kids play ground. The accommodation is spread out over 3 sunny chalets, built in a semi circle around the venue building and dam, all set to maximise the expansive views; the buildings are about 30 metres apart from each other.
Rates:
R4,400 per night all inclusive for 8 adults on self-catering basis, plus R100 per extra child (max 6 children)
R6,000 per night all inclusive for 8 adults on self-catering basis, plus R150 per extra child during peak season (1 Dec - 10 Jan & Easter weekend)

- a more elaborate dining area,
- or to house the table tennis table and indoor kids play area
Interlocking kitchen
- conveniently placed to serve out to the lapa or into the hall;
- fully set-up for self-catering for 14 people;
- has all the modern conveniences such as fridge, freezer, gas hob & oven, dish washer, double sink, toaster, kettle, pots, pans, dishes, crockery & cutlery;
- braai tools such as grids & potjie pots are also available
Extra Ladies & Gents bathrooms
- conveniently attached to the hall for easy access;
- both have toilets, basins & showers
Natural swimming pool
- filled with fresh flowing mountain water, it's a treat on hot summer days;
- splash area and gradual slope towards the deeper end makes it a favourite for children
Wooden deck & fire pit
- elegantly set up to flow from the venue building out onto the large wooden deck
- with loungers to soak up the sunshine;
- and a round stone fire pit, which lets you gather around an open fire and tell stories under the starry African sky
The Cottages
- sleeps a maximum of 14 people spread out over 3 chalets
- 8 adults on comfy beds in the individual bedrooms
- plus 6 children or light weight persons on double sleeper couches in the respective lounge areas of the chalets
